I have mpage and gv, as they were shipped with RH9. (mpage version 2.5.3 Oktober 2002, gv 3.5.8) Sometimes files produced with mpage $ mpage -2 -bA4 original.ps 2pagespersheet.ps show an empty *first* page with gv. If I look inside of the 2pagespersheet.ps with mc (in fact pdf2txt) the text of the missing page is there. Also the original.ps shows a page 0 in gv whereas 2sidespersheet.ps starts with page 1?!
