The GPL is not the limiting factor here, it is the proprietary software which is introducing limitations. So Oracle is not a problem, StarOffice is not a problem, and thousands of other software apps are not a problem... but MP3 _is_ because its makers/owners choose to make it so.

Just how old are you, Guy? Because if you're 12 or 14, I'll understand that this behavior is typical of unruly hormones and quit harassing you...
