Samsung ML-1750 Laser Printer problem

I just received a new Samsung ML-1750 printer and installed it. After trying to use Samsung's Linux driver setup, I followed Brian Schmidt's advice in

https://www.redhat.com/archives/shrike-list/2003-August/msg00604.html

and uninstalled the Samsung drivers which use linux-config for setup. I then used the standard RHL9 Printing tool to add the printer as a Samsung ML-1200 printer as Brian did with his ML-1710 printer. My printer is attached to a Netgear PS110 Print server.

Everything looks right in the Print Manager, a job I send shows up in the queue, and eventually disappears from the queue, but nothing happens at the printer.

Jobs sent to the printer from Windows print fine. Jobs sent from RHL9 to an HP Deskjet 970c on the other channel of the print server print fine.

As Brian suggested, I did uninstall the Samsung drivers.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
