Just thought I would report back on my results with the ML-1710. I tried using the drivers supplied on their CD-ROM. Everything "seems" to install fine, but it won't print. I just kept getting an error window popping up on me that says "Unknown command-line option: -?". I tried installing the drivers from their site, but got the same result. I spent some time on the phone with their tech support (very friendly, very helpful!) to figure out what I can do. What they had me do was use the built-in support under Samsung and choose the ML-1200. It works perfectly now. Hopefully this will save someone out there some time and headaches if they encounter this. Also, be sure that you completely uninstall their drivers before you manually set it up like that. For some reason, if their drivers are installed, running the Print Manager dies on me. I haven't figured out why, but I figured out that when I uninstalled them, it no longer died and let me set the printer up. And that's as far as I cared to know. ;) Brian -- bts@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
