Given my problems with lsmod (see earlier post) to which there was no reply -- presumably a freak problem, I am wondering if upgrading to a higher kernel would help. I am currently on 2.4.20-8. Should I go to 2.6.? In case, where do I get it, and how does one install it?
Surely there is some sane middle road between the unwise policy of running an obsoleted kernel with known issues, or going to a development kernel - have you considered running the current redhat kernel?
Just a thought.
