I am currently on 2.4.20-8. Should I go to 2.6.? Kernel 2.5/2.6 is material under developement and testing, for now. There is no Red Hat supported implementation available. Maybe it solves your problem (don't remember, what it has been), but will very likely arise a lot of other probs. Current Red Hat supported kernel is of version 2.4.20-19.9. You should upgrade to that version using RHN, which does all the necessary stuff automatically and I never heart of problems with that process.
