Kernel 2.6.0 and dpt_i2o support

Not sure if this has already been covered somewhere and I missed it, but I tried installing Arjan's 2.6.0 test kernel on my workstation, and was greeted with messages saying there was no dpt_i2o module support for my Adaptec 2100S SCSI RAID controller. I downloaded and installed the 2.6 kernel-source rpm, installed it, and found support for Adaptec i2o-based cards was completely disabled. I switched it to a module one time, and to compiled directly into the kernel another, and the kernel compile fails every time, with errors regarding the dpt_i2o module. Am I just out of it, or is support for my card truly broken and never to work with this kernel?

TIA,
-jcw
