http proxy ok / how to setup as gateway to send-download mails

Hi there

I have a rh7.3 clark as gateway. behind that I did setup a proxy (rh9)
on which I have a normal ethernet card and a wirelesscard. Now I access
that "wireless" proxy from a notebook. Because the proxy forwards http
smoothly, but smtp is not forwarded.

What do I have to setup additionally on that "wireless" gateway.
