Adding configuration directive to spec file?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I wish to recompile kernel-2.4.20-18.9 with a directive that I would
normally need to set through 'make xconfig'...namely,
"probe_all_luns_on_each_scsi_device=y"...this directive should tell the
kernel to see all slots in a multi-slot USB card reader. Is it possible
to put this into the spec file of the src.rpm (installed the src.rpm, so
that the spec file is available to me), so that I don't have to install
the kernel-source rpm and do a full out configure, first?

Alternately, does anyone know of a way to get the kernel to probe all
three slots on the card reader when the device is connected?]

Thanks.
