Um.

I hooked my linux box up to a "buch" of old disks to see what it would do, and was awestruck trying to mirror root during the install... I was like.. hmm ok a,b,c,d,e,f,g.... ok.. I think I need to mirror between sda and sdm :) ... is there a little "script" that creates a "ctd" type device node based on the major/minor numbers? instance names seem to make it pretty ugly .. I would sure hate to see it setup like a home directory server ... sdxyz ?? anyways.. I was thinking it shouldn't be too hard... right?
