you have no bootdisk? :-(
afaik you will be asked while installation for it

# makebootdisk

# mkbootdisk --device /dev/fd0 `uname -r`

much better for the first shot than boot every time in 'linux rescue'

in rescuemode eg.
# mkbootdisk --device /dev/fd0 2.4.20-13.9

# grub [tab][tab]
grub grub-install grub-md5-crypt grubby

# info grub

#info grub-install

#man grubby

Grand support for Ciba LO. He/she is now completely informed how to
proceed.

hi peter boy,

my mistake

but i think that:
- he can read
- he knows how to chroot Ciba LO:"I can cat /boot/grub/grub.conf"
- he isn´t stupid
- he need no nanny
- reading the manuals is surely no fault
- he will perhaps install *grub* as_his_boot_manager_of_choice and will leave www.xosl.org

bye pboy
