I don't recall ever having seen BNC connector I have two 21 inch monitors with either / or and a 17 with bnc only. On the two 21's I can't tell the difference between the two cables, don't waste your cheap vcr money. Just a shot in the dark, but reverse the cable, since it connects at each end. Also, just for laughs, do you have a degauss button and if so have you pushed it lately ?? If you can't resist the temtation to buy a cable, try pccables.com I get almost all my cables from them and have had zero complaints, price or quality either one.
