have i overlooked something about a new beta?
the link to phoebe-3 seems to be the latest :-(
I checked for a new beta today. It was on Duke's server. Phoebe 3 was the last listed. I too am waiting for the next beta cycle. Hopefully with the 2.5 or 2.6 kernel.
Don't count on it. Seems like the 2.6 TODO list is still long enough to use as wallpaper for a medium sized house I guess we should be really happy if 2.6 can be declared this year... but RedHat has backported most of the interesting stuff to 2.4 it seems...
It might be a good idea to make 2.5/2.6-test rpm's available to increase bug feedback though. Thinking about making them myself, as soon as the more extreme disk corruption problems are ironed out...

I'd be interested in trying out some rpm packaged versions. I tried to build a 2.5 kernel version, for my 490CDT Toshiba laptop. It panicked at opening a display. It was version 2.5.70. The panic was related to init.
Having more people testing the new developmental kernel, might get it out of developmental stages, faster.
Will all the backporting of the worthy features to 2.4 kernel, change it to 2.6, eventually?
