Re: can't find ghostscript fonts SOLVED

For the benefit of anyone else with this problem-
I found the missing Nimbus* fonts by

locate fonts | grep ghostscript and then

grep -R Nimbus /usr/share/fonts/default

--where they turned up in the /usr/share/fonts/default/Type1
directory.   I added a link in /usr/local/share/ghostscript/fonts
to there and it's ok now.
