Look at the phoenix project. That's the future direction of mozilla, along with minotaur/thunderbird. Mozilla has announced that after 1.4, the code will be split, and the browser will seperate from the mail tool. http://www.mozilla.org/roadmap.html


If you don't use the other parts of mozilla, phoenix may be for you.
