Right, i see now, after digging into bugzilla.mozilla.org that i'm not
the first one to hit this limitation.

I wonder if some hack would do it. After all, all it takes is to
intercept a click on a "mailto:blah"; URL and launch an external program
with the URL as parameter:

evolution mailto:god@xxxxxxxxxx

Hmmm... Lemme dig a little bit into mozdev.org, just in case...
