"Quite old"? RHL9 includes Mozilla 1.2.1. The next released version,
1.3, was released on March 13. RHL9 was released (to RHN) on March 31,
less than three weeks later. A new version would have required more
time for testing and QA. Red Hat can't control other projects' release
schedules (nor is it practical to wait on a new version of something, as
there is always some project "just about" to release a new version).

I don't speak for anybody but myself - that's enough trouble.
