 I guess this would be the best solution. I have downloaded and installed
the SuSE rpm in Shrike, but it (apparently) refuses to save the settings.
So I'll resort to buliding from source.

I have added it to the KDE menu (my default desktop is usually Gnome),
so it *does* launch from the menu, at least.
