What I don't understand, (and I haven't really looked), is why sound works now. Unless tuxracer sounds aren't mp3's. I know little about various sound formats. I assumed that the music tracks for the game were mp3's. The music files included with tuxracer appear to be type: file /usr/share/tuxracer/music/race1-jt.it: Impulse Tracker module sound data - "tux racer - track" While mp3 files display: file Live-1992-Roll_of_the_Dice_(live).mp3: MP3, 128 kBits, 44.1 kHz, JStereo - -- - -Michael pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/gpgkey.txt Red Hat Linux 7.{2,3}|8.0 in 8M of RAM: http://www.rule-project.org/ - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+j5n6n/07WoAb/SsRAm0+AJ0bqDVEpam3ZgsNcm67xH7Akvm+TQCguQui fuk6Vr1/gO9jUQ9BVieCTKY= =kXlm -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
