I tried running: mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password' and it (at least the first time) was fine. Now when I try to change the password again, or start a mysql instance, it says 'access denied for user root@xxxxxxxxx using password YES' Help! -Michael -- Michael Smith <psyche@xxxxxxxxxxxx>
