I have the same problem, especially with mysqlcc (the GUI distributed by mysql.com). It also crashes a lot. Where can I find the error log for it? Also, how do we set it up so I can use my normal account, rather than root? Now when I try to change the password again, or start a mysql instance, it says 'access denied for user root@xxxxxxxxx using password YES' Help! -Michael -- Michael Smith <psyche@xxxxxxxxxxxx> -- Shrike-list mailing list Shrike-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/shrike-list
