I have the same combo of parts that you have, and I was having the same 
problem with redhat 8 I was hoping that it would be fixed by now. The 
soultion that I came up with was to disable hardware acceleration. 

It has not happened to me yet with a uptime of 28 hours. The only thing that I 
don't use in your list is the evolution client.
