-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Snipped... I've been staying pretty much out of this, but let me put my $0.02 in on this issue from a support perspective. I, like Guy, have been pushing my company to start using RH. I work for a multi billion $ (yes, that's right) company and I'm personally responsible for the design and planning for a $200M revenue product. I have over 200 servers in production. I would NEVER use up2date directly from RH! While I like up2date, I would only use it internally from my own source servers after I'd verified any updates. My product lost $50K last weekend because some yahoo decided to do some router maintenance without telling anyone. A 30 minute outage can cost a lot. I tried to negotiate with RH to bring the RHN servers inside our company, but RH wouldn't do it. I will never allow anything---new software or upgrade---to be installed on my systems without my own QA folks testing it in my testbed with systems that duplicate my production servers. To do otherwise is foolish and can be costly.
