I don't know whether those Corsair DIMMs of yours (both the new and the old pair) are registered or not, but it's worth looking in to if you haven't already. BTW, a general RAM question; I notice you use(d) PC3200 DIMMs, and the mobo is DDR 266MHz (PC2100) - unless it's overclocked...
