printing and samba

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've got a RH8.0 server hosting a printer
for a windows network. Although I can print fine,
all users get a "Access Denied, Unable to Connect"
message when attempting to view the queue.

I am using an HP Laserjet 5, lpd.

Printing works perfectly over the network through lpd
from several linux machines in the network.

My samba configuration:

security = share

printcap name = /etc/printcap
load printers = yes
use client driver = yes

[printers]
   printable = yes
   browseable = no
   path = /var/spool/samba
   guest ok = yes
   writable = yes

Does anybody have any solutions for this, or any hints ?
Thanks :-)
