I upgraded both the kernel and the GLX files and verified the "alias char-major-195 nvidia" statement was also correctly there. I am now able to load the kernel and GLX divers, but it's still *WAY* slower than the original vesa driver. Any ideas why this is so slow now? I also noticed that the NVidia logo also doesn't show up when X first starts. Again, reverting to the older build, everything runs as expected. By the way, I'm running a GeForce Ti 4200 if that helps. Ideas welcomed!
