I rebuilt from the source rpm and haven't had any problems except for
Half-Life under Wine.  I get a message that says "The selected OpenGL
mode is not supported by your video card." whenever I attempt to join a
game.

Did you upgrade GLX as well?
Did you change "alias char-major-195 NVdriver" to "alias char-major-195
nvidia" in /etc/modules.conf?
