When specifying file permissions for some programs, make sure you
don't forget the leading zero. It is sometimes used as a prefix for
octal (base 8) values, while numbers without a leading zero are
treated as decimal (base 10).

decimal 777 =  octal 1411 = -r----x--t
 octal 777  = decimal 511 = -rwxrwxrwx
