Problem with automount maps in ldap.

Hi all,
I am trying to put my autofs maps in ldap. I have it almost working by
following the example in the December 2002 Linux journal. The only
thing I cannot figure out is how to pass options such as timout=60 to
the auto.master entries. Has anyone else tried this?

I have the following entry for a auto.master entry:
dn: cn=/kanga, ou=auto.master,dc=rogueind,dc=com
objectClass: automount
automountInformation: ldap:ou=auto.kanga,dc=rogueind,dc=com
cn: /kanga

This seems to work except that the mounts never umount unless I do it by
hand (maybe they do and I am just too impatient. Not sure but...).
When I was using files I had --timeout=60 and that took care of it.

I suppose I also have the same problem with the maps themselves.
dn: cn=src,ou=auto.kanga,dc=rogueind,dc=com
objectClass: automount
automountInformation: kanga.rogueind.com:/usr/src
cn: src

Again where do I put the options? I cannot find any documentation on this.
automount 8 states the following:

Documentation on the schema used by this module is available online at
http://docs.iplanet.com/docs/manuals/directory/411ext/nis/mapping.htm
but sun appears to have shut down that site and I have been unable to
find the new location.

I think it will be really cool to have all of the automount maps for all
of the machines in 1 place and easially maintainable. I am so close I hope
someone can help me with the last little bit.

TIA,
