Your impatience with earlier RPM operations has triggered a
well-known bug in RPM 4.1. Cancel, then run (as root user)

  # killall rpm
  # rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__*
  # rpm --rebuilddb
  
and repeat the installation attempt.
