Hi, First, I'm a very happy RedHat newbie.. I've used Windows for a lot of years now, but I love RedHat 8.0 so much, that I almost can't reboot back to Windows :) I simply love it! But.. I have a problem with my sound "card".. It's nForce! It somehow can't reach my "mixer-port" or something.. My /etc/modules.conf holds this: ---------------------------- alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc alias eth0 8139too alias usb-controller usb-ohci alias sound-slot-1 i810_audio post-install sound-slot-1 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -L >/dev/null 2>&1 || : pre-remove sound-slot-1 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -S >/dev/null 2>&1 || : alias char-major-81 bttv alias char-major-195 NVdriver alias eth1 nvnet ---------------------------- It's very annoying, that I can't play sound.. It's the only thing i need to make my system perfect! Plz help...
