This was the problem. I had to subtract 15, rather than 2, to make the
math work. Doing so gives me the correct md5 and file size.

Enter selection: 0 (0 - 20)/<cr>:11
Capacity: 326431 Blocks = 652862 kBytes = 637 MBytes = 668 prMB
Sectorsize: 2048 Bytes
Ignore disk size? no
Copy from SCSI (0,0,0) disk to file
Enter filename [disk.out]:
Enter starting sector for copy: 0 (0 - 326430)/<cr>:
Enter number of sectors to copy: 326431 (1 - 326431)/<cr>:326416
Enter number of sectors per copy: 128 (1 - 128)/<cr>:
end: 326416
addr: 326416 cnt: 168

[root@paradox valhalla]# grep i386-disc1 MD5SUM
cb91810ce8173039fed24420407e4c59 valhalla-i386-disc1.iso
[root@paradox valhalla]# md5sum disk.out
cb91810ce8173039fed24420407e4c59 disk.out

Thanks. It appears I'll be looking for a new drive, as I have the latest
firmware installed for mine and it doesn't do DAO properly.
