Thanks Pete,

Yeah , thats what I had thought too, and I checked the size of my exisitng
kernel, which was more than this new one, so I assumed it was ok to
proceed. That was my first attempt to do anything with the kernel, and
hence was a little cautious:) ( didnt want to see my system go up in smoke
! )
