Non Fatal error on ida/c0d0 message

For about 2 months now we have been recieving the above error message in our logs.  It has only occured 6 times and there has been no pattern in regards to the timing of the error.

The server is a Compaq Proliant 1600 and has 4 x 4.3 GB disks in a RAID 5 array.  The controller is a SmartArray 3200.  The system is running a base install of Red Hat 7.3.  The server simply acts as a Squid cache.

I have researched this list and googled the Internet in general and it seems very clear that this is in regard to a disk fault.

My question is, will this error go away or should I prepare to replace a disk when it fails?  As yet no disk has failed.

Thanks

-Sam
