Hi! I'm an system administrator that are kind of new to implementing Linux in coorporate environments. Never really needed an fullscaled backup system before, just worked with web servers with small amounts of data needed to backup. Now I need to back up data im the 100GB range. My question is if anyone can recommend a good backup solution or how to scipt your own. It has to be pretty much failsafe as the environment I'm working in is the kind that _needs_ to have the highest possible stability. If you recommend a network backup system, I would like to note that the server part has to be able to run on win32 (not cygwin based (looked at amanda previously)). If anyone know where to find information about Veritas Backup Exec linux version I would like to have that link to, as it is an option I am considering. I just haven't got enough info to make it out. Dont look like they support Linux anymore, but did earlier. anyways, if you got any information regarding any of my questions above, please let me know. //Daniel Nystrom, dny@xxxxxx -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
