Could somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong... Sorry if its really
obvious....

You need to install as you can see: you need a apache 2.0.44 or newer to use with PHP 4.3.3 ;)


Try compiling the newer version of apache from the tarball found in http://httpd.apache.org

For some help, follow these instructions: http://www.cfdev.com/apache/apache2php.cfm

Don't forget to uninstall apache (rpm -e httpd)
