There are so many variables in PCMCIA. BTW, the Linksys and Netgear
cards use the same "tulip" driver. On my laptop, as soon as this driver
loads, I get ceaseless disk activity and any attempt to access NFS kills
the connection completely. There are new Tulip drivers in 2.6 that won't
load as modules but can be compiled in. Same result.
