Video call - Platform choice

Hi Ole,

Thank you very much for your reply, really appreciated it.

I am trying to develop SIP enabled device with audio (analog mic & speaker)
and video support (camera), so we need audio (G.711) and video (H.264)
codec support.

We will use Linux as operating system, no sure about the distro yet. We
need ethernet (POE optional), WIFI will available as well but over USB
dongle, no need for bluetooth.

It also need 2 x USB Minimum, SPI, I2C, I2S, UART, memory interface.

Regarding the cost, 30$ per chipset would be the maximum. I am targeting a
volume of 200 devices as first order. Life cycle is also very important,
changing chipset is always a pain.

In my short list I selected ARM11 as I am playing with raspberry I was
thinking of something similar as the Broadcom chip they use on the PI. I
also looked at Atmel SAM9M ARM926EJ? Embedded
MPU<http://www.atmel.com/products/microcontrollers/ARM/sam9m.aspx> and
Freescale i.MX37.

Thank you very much for your assistance, it's great that you share your
experience with PJSIP with newbie.

Best regards,
Gab
