It's Sunday and I'm feeling pedantic.... there are very few things in this world that are "literally infinite"... there are a finite number of PC components and accessories therefore there is a finite number of hardware combinations. Granted, the number is massive and I totally get the point you are making. If you start introducing firmware versions into the equation, then the massive number gets even bigger.... but it's still not infinite :p

So there is no need for exaggeration... I must have written literally a million emails like this in the past week... :p
