Hi
I agree with you in all aspects.
I started programming with pascal a few years old and now I'm learning C++
at the university and working in a company coding in php. My first operative
system was Windows '95. So you may think I am a GUI guy, but it couldn't be
more farther of the reality.
I really went crazy looking at those javascript functions produced by
Dreamweaver and Fireworks, I prefer Zend Studio and do it by hand, but that
is not my job (fortunately), this is the designer job. This creatures are
not used to curly braces and regex and even they don't know that what they
are doing in dreamweaver could have been done by hand. But they make really
beautiful works, not only in the computer, but in the paper. Can you do
something in a paper? I can't even draw a curly line. I think it's fine the
way it is. We can't asked them to traduce the image they have in their head
to letters.
They simply can't make the webpages by hand, so I try to clean the code they
give to me. I don't go line by line, I even can't do that, because I don't
know much about html, for the record that's not my fault, html and css can
be very confusing.

Best regards
