Re: Lens Question

I had a modern 24-70 f2.8.  I took 3 of them with bad flanges or bad internals each out of focus in a different area before I just got my money back and bought a Nikor.   Others have praised the lens.  So there was a bad batch at some point.   Still means you need to check the lens at all focus distances and apertures when you get it to make sure its a good lens (should do this with any lens from anyone)

Sigma lens are hit or miss.   Can be good and can have problems.   When they are right they are fine.  So make sure to test the lens before you buy it because having the left side of your work be out of focus while the right is super sharp can be frustrating.
