Anyone ever run packs off of a car battery?   I know Bowens used to have a car adapter I used in school.  It was to say the least SLOW and could do 1 pack.  I know I can run my rangers off of car batteries but they are 1100 ws and designed for DC.

It was made when you were in middle school. I have two of them too and they are workhorses. Power packs made when I was ten are about the size of a VW Beetle.
