The NORTHEAST DOCUMENT CONSERVATION CENTER welcomes Hrvoje Gržina, the Center's 2011 Eastern European Photograph Conservation Intern. Mr. Gržina is an archivist at the Central Laboratory for Photography at the Croatian State Archives in Zagreb, Croatia. The Archives holds a collection of over 800,000 photographs, including materials ranging from daguerreotypes to modern inkjet prints. During the two-month internship, Mr. Gržina will study identification of photographic processes, treatment documentation, and conservation treatment techniques.
