I felt the same way when I moved to Houston from Lexington, Kentucky in 1982. Since then I've gotten used to it and the traffic jams I had to negotiate in the 80s are not nearly so bad now -- unless there's an accident! There's a lot to see and do here, the people are warm and friendly and there are many great restaurants. Guy's photo captures the downtown area neatly, but it could have been taken in a half dozen other spots around town.
