Thanks for your perceptive comment!  Yes, Vonnegut was fully
aware of what I was looking for. He actively participated in the
shoot, and instinctively assumed various poses with virtually no
direction from me. I'm sure that's because for a long time he was
married to author and photographer Jill Krementz.  She apparently
schooled him well. Â

Thank you for the nice idea of posting the whole contact sheet. It
gives a good perspective of what is going on during the session. I feel
as if the photographer and the subject are both exploring the
possibilities.
If I had to choose, perhaps I'd go for number 24 or 25.
If wasn't so careless in printing contacts, I might post in the same
fashion!
