Ultra-wide zooms for DX are surprisingly affordable, going out to 12mm, 11mm, even 10mm. My 12-24/4 Tokina was only $600 new (a few years ago), less than half what the standalone 14mm lenses cost, even the Sigma. I'm currently shooting the Sigma 12-24mm full-frame lens, which is quite remarkable for a bit over $800 (I got it just before it went up, but I think that's where it is these days). -- David Dyer-Bennet, dd-b@xxxxxxxx; http://dd-b.net/ Snapshots: http://dd-b.net/dd-b/SnapshotAlbum/data/ Photos: http://dd-b.net/photography/gallery/ Dragaera: http://dragaera.info
