Hi, I have decided to upgrade to a Nikon D300. I primarily shoot sports/ news photograhy and need the speed for stadium lighting without flash. I am considering the Nikon 18-200 mm as the initial lens. But I also shoot my share of portrait shots. Do you think it is fast enough. I am also considering a 400 mm sigma for telephoto and wonder if a list member has any experience or recommendations with this equipment.
