Re: How many techniques?

I like this idea myself since I am more of an artsy person and not much on f-stops, filters and lighting measurements. It's why I don't contribute much and have to wonder if this might be why my suggestion of a gallery of photos depicting where we all live sort of fell by the way side. And please don't feel like I'm pouting 'cause I'm not. Just wondering what everyone thought and why there was only one response. 

I'd like to participate in this new gallery suggestion if I'm able to understand it correctly. Would we have to write down everything we did in the process of reaching our final submission? And please don't dwell on my first paragraph and skip this question because I am really interested in this gallery idea. Thanks.

Since it is the end product that is important the image must be judged on that. The rules of the entry should say any techniques may be used so long as the original image was produced by photography.

Michael, I don't think you read this question thoroughly.  The "techniques" involved had much to do with the vision of the artist.  There was no question about shutter speed, f-stop, equipment etc.  It all had to do with the ultimate image and the complexities of achieving it.  I think that is within the purview of your interests.

I'm curious if anyone would think it an interesting theme for a future gallery to offer up images that hold the highest number of techniques such as levels, filters, layers, masks, etc.? For me, I think the most "techniques" in photoshop I have used is about 4.
