on the matter of obscolete OS's, it seems Microsoft has announced it is finally putting windows 3.11 (released 1993) to rest <http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/07/11/microsoft_retires_windows_311_f or_workgroups/> up to now it's been a current operating system :) k
