I visited Costa Rica a few days ago and was alerted to a new version of this software in my hotel room.
I have a habit of keeping everything up to date for security reasons, so I installed it.
Back at home, I wanted to update my main PC, but there was no new version.
Looking out for more information, I found that the 1.4. version had actually been withdrawn due to quality issues.
Adobe now recommends to uninstall this version!
Not that I had seen an automatic alert on my notebook when starting Lightroom, nor was there a mail in my inbox (I registered my copy).
So if anyone installed 1.4 as well, this may be of interest:

The bugs seem also to concern the latest camera raw upgrade (4.4)
